You do really awesome non-lineart works and it really suits your style I think since you like the more reaslistic approach to art now.
I gotta say, you did an awesome job on the robot devil! He's looking just as evil as he should and as teasing as he should since he seems to like toying with his prey [or at least that's how it looked in that one ep 'robot hell' xD]
Bender looks amazing too! I don't know how you can draw a robot and make it look totally awesome! But only you could!!

I, I just, HOLY COW--

I love it. o-o I completely and utterly just love. this. ohmygosh D: I saw this pop up in my inbox and I was already grinning, but when I full viewed, I simply went weak in the knees.

First, allow me to compliment you on a fantastically drawn Bender and Robot Devil. Especially Beelz - for your first time drawin him, he came out right on the money~ I adore the devious glint in his eye, his lazily splayed fingers as he toys with his "Bender puppet", and the way his horns shine all gold-like. The "Bender puppet" idea is awesome btw - it feels so very intimate because fiddle playing is one of his joys and for him to have a lil Bender play a violin is like he's combining two of his passions and... that's just adorable. 8D Awww... all Beelz wants is for Bender to play his fiddle! _{rofl that almost sounds dirty D:}

Gyah, but onto the technique of the piece itself. I love the overlying red-ish tone of the picture, it's very mood-setting~ Plus, it prompts the eye to focus on the electric blue sparks controlling mini Bender very nicely <3 Mmmm the painterly style you used is really quite lovely as it gives the image a certain life-like energy, a flurry of movement, it's as if this is an activity that the Robot Devil knows well and repeats with zest...
haha or perhaps I'm just over analyzing xD I can't help it, though! This is just such a beautiful piece and I lovelovelove it!

Ohhh if you must know about the colouring-- there is this awesome set of wet-media brushes on Photoshop that I've become a huge fan of using. Their effect reminds me so much of oil pastels, which I used to use alll the time back in high school. C:

Me too! That one was awesome, but nothing beats "The Sting" IMO <333 I'm a huge Fry/Leela shipper myself, and that episode proves those two are perfect together! <3

Duuuude that song was the best! The best part had to be later on when they had that golden fiddle competition to save Bender, and Leela pwned him good with that fiddle to the head XDDDDDD I was dying when I saw that for the first time! LOL
